'5S' is the name of workplace organization methodology that uses a list of five Japanese words which are Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke. “5S” is a system that creates a workplace that has minimized waste, more productive activities, reduced chances of error, reduced rework, high safety etc. that ultimately leads to reducing cost and increasing productivity. “Kaizen” is Japanese word which simply means “Continuous Improvement”. It refers to a workplace quality strategy, which humanizes the workplace, eliminates overly hard work (both mental and physical) & teaches people how to perform experiments on their work using the scientific method to spot and eliminate waste in business processes.
