What is the difference between a Follower and a Friend on Facebook ? A facebook follower is a someone who get's your public posts in their facebook newsfeed, but you do not get anything from them, a Facebook friend is a 2 way traffic, where you also get their public and for friends only updates in YOUR news feed.

What is a Facebook Follower ? A facebook follower is someone who can get your PUBLIC UPDATES ( with a globe sign ) to get these updates in their NEWSFEED as an update. Anyone can see your public posts even now, only difference is that they get it in news feed.
