English Story
One morning, Mulla Nasrudin was walking through the village when he saw a group of people arguing over a large basket of delicious dates.
Everyone wanted the dates, but nobody could decide how to share them fairly.
Mulla smiled and said, “Don’t worry! I have a clever plan.”
He placed the basket in the middle and said, “Let each person take turns choosing one date. The person who gets the last date will share it with everyone.”
Everyone agreed.
They happily took turns picking dates until only one was left.
Mulla picked up the last date, cut it into small pieces, and gave a piece to everyone.
The villagers laughed and said, “Mulla, your plan was clever indeed!”
Mulla smiled and replied, “When people stop arguing and start sharing, even a small thing can make everyone happy.”
Moral of the Story
A clever plan can solve problems, but kindness and sharing make the solution even better.
اردو کہانی
ایک صبح ملا نصرالدین گاؤں سے گزر رہے تھے کہ انہوں نے کچھ لوگوں کو کھجوروں کی ایک بڑی ٹوکری پر بحث کرتے دیکھا۔
سب لوگ کھجوریں چاہتے تھے، لیکن کوئی بھی یہ فیصلہ نہیں کر پا رہا تھا کہ انہیں انصاف کے ساتھ کیسے تقسیم کیا جائے۔
ملا مسکرائے اور بولے، “فکر نہ کریں! میرے پاس ایک ہوشیار منصوبہ ہے۔”
انہوں نے ٹوکری درمیان میں رکھی اور کہا، “ہر شخص باری باری ایک کھجور لے گا۔ جس شخص کو آخری کھجور ملے گی، وہ اسے سب کے ساتھ بانٹے گا۔”
سب لوگ راضی ہو گئے۔
وہ خوشی خوشی باری باری کھجوریں لینے لگے، یہاں تک کہ آخر میں صرف ایک کھجور باقی رہ گئی۔
ملا نے آخری کھجور اٹھائی، اسے چھوٹے چھوٹے ٹکڑوں میں کاٹا اور سب کو ایک ایک ٹکڑا دے دیا۔
گاؤں والے ہنس کر بولے، “ملا صاحب! واقعی آپ کا منصوبہ بہت ہوشیار تھا!”
ملا مسکرائے اور بولے، “جب لوگ بحث کرنا چھوڑ کر بانٹنا شروع کر دیں، تو چھوٹی سی چیز بھی سب کو خوش کر سکتی ہے۔”
کہانی کا سبق
ہوشیار منصوبہ مسائل حل کر سکتا ہے، لیکن مہربانی اور بانٹنے سے حل مزید خوبصورت بن جاتا ہے۔

English Story
One evening, Mulla Nasrudin was searching for his precious ring outside his house. He looked under the tree, near the door, and around the garden, but he could not find it.
A neighbor saw him and asked, “Mulla, what are you looking for?”
“My ring! I lost it somewhere,” Mulla replied.
The neighbor began helping him search. Soon, several villagers joined them. Everyone searched carefully, but the ring was nowhere to be found.
Finally, one villager asked, “Mulla, are you sure you lost the ring here?”
Mulla nodded and said, “No, I lost it inside my house.”
Everyone stared at him in surprise!
“Then why are you searching outside?” they asked.
Mulla smiled and replied, “Because there is much more light outside!”
Everyone burst into laughter.
Mulla’s funny answer taught them that we should look for a problem where it actually exists, not simply where it is easier to search.
Moral of the Story
Always look for the truth where the problem really is, not where it is easiest to find.
اردو کہانی
ایک شام ملا نصرالدین اپنے گھر کے باہر اپنی قیمتی انگوٹھی تلاش کر رہے تھے۔ انہوں نے درخت کے نیچے، دروازے کے پاس اور باغ میں ہر جگہ دیکھا، لیکن انگوٹھی نہ ملی۔
ایک پڑوسی نے انہیں دیکھا اور پوچھا، “ملا صاحب! آپ کیا تلاش کر رہے ہیں؟”
ملا نے جواب دیا، “میری انگوٹھی! میں نے اسے کہیں گم کر دیا ہے۔”
پڑوسی بھی ان کی مدد کرنے لگا۔ جلد ہی کئی گاؤں والے بھی تلاش میں شامل ہو گئے۔ سب نے غور سے تلاش کیا، لیکن انگوٹھی کہیں نہیں ملی۔
آخرکار ایک گاؤں والے نے پوچھا، “ملا صاحب! کیا آپ کو یقین ہے کہ انگوٹھی یہیں گمی ہے؟”
ملا نے سر ہلا کر کہا، “نہیں، میں نے اسے اپنے گھر کے اندر گم کیا ہے۔”
سب لوگ حیرت سے ملا کو دیکھنے لگے!
انہوں نے پوچھا، “پھر آپ باہر کیوں تلاش کر رہے ہیں؟”
ملا مسکرائے اور بولے، “کیونکہ باہر روشنی زیادہ ہے!”
یہ سن کر سب گاؤں والے ہنس پڑے۔
ملا کے مزاحیہ جواب نے سب کو سکھایا کہ مسئلہ جہاں موجود ہو، حل بھی وہیں تلاش کرنا چاہیے، صرف اس جگہ نہیں جہاں تلاش کرنا آسان ہو۔
کہانی کا سبق
حقیقت کو ہمیشہ وہاں تلاش کریں جہاں مسئلہ موجود ہو، نہ کہ صرف وہاں جہاں اسے تلاش کرنا آسان ہو۔

ایک دن ملا نصرالدین کی قیمتی انگوٹھی کہیں گم ہوگئی۔ ملا صاحب نے بہت سوچا کہ انگوٹھی کہاں گری ہوگی۔ آخرکار وہ اپنے گھر کے باہر روشنی والی جگہ پر انگوٹھی تلاش کرنے لگے۔

کچھ دیر بعد ان کے ایک دوست نے انہیں دیکھا اور پوچھا:

"ملا صاحب! آپ کیا تلاش کر رہے ہیں؟"

ملا نصرالدین نے جواب دیا:
"میری انگوٹھی گم ہوگئی ہے، میں اسے تلاش کر رہا ہوں۔"

دوست نے پوچھا:
"کیا آپ کو معلوم ہے کہ انگوٹھی کہاں گری تھی؟"

ملا صاحب نے کہا:
"جی ہاں، میری انگوٹھی گھر کے اندر کہیں گری تھی۔"

دوست حیران ہو کر بولا:
"اگر انگوٹھی گھر کے اندر گری تھی تو آپ باہر کیوں تلاش کر رہے ہیں؟"

ملا نصرالدین مسکرا کر بولے:
"کیونکہ گھر کے اندر اندھیرا ہے، جبکہ باہر روشنی زیادہ ہے!"

دوست نے اپنا سر پکڑ لیا اور کہا:
"ملا صاحب! چیز جہاں گم ہوئی ہے، اسے وہیں تلاش کرنا چاہیے!"

### سبق:

ہمیں صرف آسان جگہ پر نہیں بلکہ **صحیح جگہ پر مسئلہ حل کرنا چاہیے۔**
