Starting in 25 minutes: The India-Pakistan nuclear rivalry - how did we get here?
On the socio-political legacies of Partition, we speak to Nisid Hajari, Bloomberg News editor, and author of Midnights Furies: The deadly legacy of Indias Partition.
While it is not widely recognized yet, the connections between Partition and where we find ourselves today in terms of politics and war are becoming clearer.
Understanding our past is a necessary step for the future. In light of this, we speak to Nisid Hajari on Sunday. He delves deeper into such issues using new and previously unreported sources of information in his recent book, Midnights Furies: The deadly legacy of Indias Partition. Mr. Hajari is also an editor for Bloomsberg News and will be sharing new insights and take a look at modern political trends that relate back to history.
This Sunday Stories Live event will be streamed freely online.
