پاکستان میں ایک عجیب مسئلہ ہے… جو لوگ سب سے زیادہ کام کرتے ہیں… اکثر انہی کو سب سے کم لوگ جانتے ہیں۔ آج مجھ سے عرفان احمد یاہو ملنے آئے۔ میں انہیں تقریباً 26 سال سے جانتا ہوں۔ وہ Yahoo کے Pakistan اور Middle East کے representative رہے۔ ان کے بھائی CNN کے representative ہیں 30 سے زیادہ ممالک میں۔ اُن کی بھتیجی نے بھی CNN میں کام کیا ہے۔ اور شاید آپ میں سے بہت کم لوگ جانتے ہوں گے کہ یہ ریحان احمد ٹینٹ والے صاحب کے بھائی ہیں — جن کا پاکستان کے سب سے بڑے tent businesses میں شمار ہوتا ہے۔ ماشاءاللہ چھ بھائی… اور تقریباً سبھی اپنے اپنے field میں extraordinary۔ عرفان بھائی اردو، انگلش، اور بنگالی تینوں زبانوں پر زبردست command رکھتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے Economics میں PhD کی ہوئی ہے۔ پاکستان میں exports کیسے بڑھائے جائیں… economy کیسے grow کرے… اس پر انہوں نے پاکستان اور دنیا بھر میں بے شمار projects کیے۔ 60 سے زیادہ ممالک گھوم چکے ہیں۔ لیکن جو بات مجھے سب سے زیادہ interesting لگی… وہ اب ایک کتاب لکھ رہے ہیں۔ ایسی کتاب… جس میں پچھلے 40 سال کے پاکستان کے technology heroes کا ذکر ہوگا۔ وہ لوگ… جنہوں نے خاموشی سے internet، media، technology، telecom، software اور digital Pakistan کو build کیا… لیکن کبھی headlines کا حصہ نہیں بنے۔ پاکستان کی history صرف politicians اور actors کی نہیں ہے۔ پاکستان کی ایک خاموش technology history بھی ہے… جسے شاید پہلی بار properly document کیا جا رہا ہے۔ میرے خیال میں ہر نوجوان کو ایسے لوگوں سے ملنا چاہیے۔ Podcasts پر بلانا چاہیے۔ ان کی stories سننی چاہئیں۔ کیونکہ بعض اوقات… ایک گھنٹے کی گفتگو… چار سال کی university سے زیادہ vision دے دیتی ہے۔ — Rehan Allahwa

میں آج سعد شاہ سے ملا۔ میں انہیں تقریباً 20 سال سے جانتا ہوں… اور ہر بار اُن سے مل کر یہ احساس ہوتا ہے کہ پاکستان میں کتنے extraordinary لوگ موجود ہیں جنہیں دنیا ابھی تک پوری طرح جان ہی نہیں پائی۔ انہوں نے صرف 13 سال کی عمر میں اپنی پہلی کمپنی شروع کی۔ اور اب تک 4 کمپنیاں بنا کر successfully sell بھی کر چکے ہیں۔ انہوں نے Raah.tv اور WeShine Magazine جیسے پراجیکٹس شروع کرنے میں مدد کی — جو مسلم دنیا کے نوجوانوں کے لیے دنیا بھر میں جانے جانے والے چند magazines میں شامل تھے۔ آج اُن کی consulting company دبئی، سعودی عرب، پاکستان، سنگاپور، ملائیشیا، اور آسٹریلیا میں operate کر رہی ہے — اپنی طرز کی ایک Accenture۔ اور بہت کم لوگ جانتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے پاکستان کی بڑی supermarket chains میں سے ایک “Ukash” بھی شروع کی۔ کچھ لوگ شور مچا کر famous ہوتے ہیں… اور کچھ لوگ خاموشی سے industries build کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ میرے خیال میں سعد شاہ جیسے لوگوں کو podcasts پر بلانا چاہیے، اُن کی journeys سننی چاہئیں، اور نوجوانوں کو اُن سے سیکھنا چاہیے۔ اگر آپ entrepreneurship، startups، leadership یا business growth میں دلچسپی رکھتے ہیں… تو ایسے لوگوں کو ضرور follow کریں۔ — ریحان اللہ والا Meet Syed Saad Ali
