I met him 20+ years a go via Rifat Ullah Bajwa and today I think we are finally friends as he is also on mission to end poverty from Pakistan !

مولانا عبید اللہ سندھی رحمتہ اللہ علیہ فرماتے تھے : اگر میرے اختیار میں ہو تو دار العلوم دیو بند سے فراغت کی سند حاصل کرنے کے لئے یہ شرط بھی لگا دوں کہ فارغ التحصیل کم از کم چھ مہینہ کے لئے یورپ میں گھوم آیا ہو ؟ اس سے مولانا کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ ایک عالم دین کو ارشاد و ہدایت کا جو فرض انجام دنیا چاہیے، موجودہ زمانہ میں کوئی عالم یہ فرض کما حقہ اس وقت تک اور انہیں کر سکتا جب تک کہ وہ دنیا کے ترقی یافتہ ملک میں گھوم پھر کر انسانی معاشرہ میں جو عظیم انقلاب ہوا اور اس کی وجہ سے جو نئے نئے مسائل پیدا ہوگئے ہیں ان جائزہ ساتھ بدلے ، دراصل میں س امارت اور بھی صورت ہے جس کی وجہ سے در مختار یں قاضی ابو یوسف رحمہ اللہ علیہ کا یہ قول نقل کیا گیا ہے :- من المميكن عالما باحوال زمان عالم جو شخص اپنے زمانہ کے احوال سے واقف نہ ہو اس کے لئے فتوی دینا جائز نہیں ہے ۔ يجزاه الفتيات ترقی یافتہ ممالک میں جا کر مزید برآں یہ فائدہ بھی ہوتا ہے کہ دنیا میں کوئی قوم اکثریت میں ہو یا اقلیت میں کس طرح اپنی تعمیر کرتی ہے، وہاں کس طرح ہر شخص ہو تا کہ اور کام زیادہ کرتا ہے۔ محنت اس طرح کرتا ہے کہ کام کے اوقات کا ایک منٹ ضائع نہیں کرتا ۔ اپنا قرض منصبی ادا کر نے میں ستی کافی بے ایمانی اور بددیانتی کو دخل نہیں دیتا پھر کام چھوٹا ہو یا بڑا اسےکسی کام میں عار نہیں ہوتا۔ علاوہ ازیں وہ یہ بھی دیکھتا ہے کہ ان ملک میں انسانی خراج و بهبود اپنی قومی روایات ، علم و ادب، صنعت و حرفت اور مذہب و تعلیم ان سب کی ترقی کے لئے کیسی اعلیٰ سے اصلی تنظیمات اور ادارے ہیں جو بڑے خلوص اور شفقت کے

When women get married in our culture we leave the name and change to the husbands name showing their commitment !

I believe that when we are committed to a mission, that mission Shoukd be our name !
