Why?
Because I know that it’s the easiest way for agencies to achieve success.
I’m speaking from experience…
And from what I’ve observed while helping other agencies.
Now, I could create a long list of benefits as to why your agency should focus on one niche…
But I think these three are the most important ones:
1 - It’s easier to stack your social proof.
What would you do if you were making a pitch and the potential client said:
“Okay, that’s all great. But who else have you worked with like me?”
If you are focused on one niche, it would be easier to stack all your social proof and case studies and present it.
You can also gather testimonials and show them to your potential clients and say:
“I’m not sure if you know XXX from XXX company. But this is what we’ve done for them.”
2 - The sales resistance drops.
Sales resistance refers to all the objections and questions that potential clients will raise.
When you’re niche-focused, that resistance will drop tremendously.
You see, people have objections or questions because they don’t trust you yet.
But if you have all the social proof and case studies to show them…
Trust won’t be a big issue.
They’ll know you can deliver what you say because you’ve done it before…
And you’ve done it with people who have the same struggles as they do.
3 - It’s simpler to fulfill and systematize processes.
Finally, being niche-focused will make it easier to create systems in your agency…
…And this will allow you to fulfill your services in a simple manner.
When you serve more than one niche, each of these will have its own systems.
That means you’ll have to reinvent each one, and that can be confusing over time.
But if you focus on one niche, you can concentrate on creating one system that suits their needs…
And that would make your delivery process easier and simpler.
