Islamabad will surely miss him but here is the journey which was started in 2018, the journey was kicked off with a mission to serve the citizens of Islamabad by creating an easy access to reach out to the Deputy Commissioner.

Anyone could come & meet the DC and their issues were resolved without any reference (Sifarish) & he/she will be treated as VIP without the discrimination of class, money,wealth, area, etc.Access will not be just in DC Office but also on digital media (facebook,twitter,insta).

Establishment of digital media complaint redressal was one those initiatives which were copied by almost all the public offices of the govt.People of Islamabad had their DC present on the doorstep by online complaint redressal & public grievances were resolved within no time.

Free medical camps were started for rural areas of ICT, Anti-Dengue sprays were done, largest tree plantation in the history of Islamabad was done, a trend setter clean Islamabad drive took place, tough law & order situations were managed amicably, Strict price-control was done during Ramadan which was followed by other provinces, Eid prayers & events were managed perfectly, record food inspections were done in which heavy fines, sealing & arrests took place, check and balance on transport fare control was kept strictly. Crackdown against sui-gas and electricity theft was done, exemplary work was done to eliminate child labour, best polio campaign was done which was recognised nationwide, we visited different schools, colleges & universities for anti drug awareness campaigns. DC task force was formed raise awareness & create liason between the citizens & the DC Office. Task force majorly worked on all the awareness campaigns that are mentioned in the above tweets, though it was closed due to some negativities that exist in our society.

Most importantly, the best COVID control policy was formed by ICT Administration which was recognised world wide & was appreciated on BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera & other international platforms. Islamabad was marked as one of the safest capitals in fighting COVID. I would like to thank everyone who supported him in thick & thin, specially friends from print, electronic & digital media. Without you all this mission of serving the city & its citizens would not have completed. Hamza Shafqaat has given to the people of Islamabad, rule of law and protection, transparent civil government, responsive civil service, consulted the stakeholders to understand the different interests, provided the opportunity for citizens of Islamabad to maintain, enhance and generally improve their well-being. Islamabad is a bustling and contemporary metropolitan city. Hamza as the administrator of Islamabad, provided us with propitious, stupendous, and outstanding city life that every Pakistani deserve.

Alhamdulillah Ya Rab for such respect, love & care. May Allah help us all to serve our motherland with zeal & zest and without any greed. May peace & justice prevails in the city.
