Im surprised to see almost no discussion of Kashmir here. Given its size (roughly 12 million people), the fact that its disputed territory between two nuclear states, and the fact that India has put this semi-autonomous region under martial law as well as a communications blackout for the last 12 days, it seems like this is both a significant human rights violation on a massive scale as well as something that could escalate quickly.
