### The Lion and the Mouse

One day, a lion was sleeping peacefully when a tiny mouse ran over his paw. The lion woke up angrily and caught the mouse.

The mouse pleaded, **"Please spare me! One day, I might help you."** The lion laughed but let him go.

Days later, the lion got trapped in a hunter’s net. The little mouse came and chewed through the ropes, setting the lion free.

That day, the lion learned that **even the smallest friend can be a great help.**

### شیر اور چوہا

ایک دن، شیر سکون سے سو رہا تھا کہ ایک چھوٹا سا چوہا اس کے پنجے پر دوڑ گیا۔ شیر غصے سے جاگا اور چوہے کو پکڑ لیا۔

چوہا گڑگڑا کر بولا، **"مجھے چھوڑ دو! شاید میں کسی دن تمہاری مدد کر سکوں۔"** شیر ہنسا، مگر اسے چھوڑ دیا۔

چند دن بعد، شیر ایک شکاری کے جال میں پھنس گیا۔ ننھے چوہے نے آ کر جال کے رسیوں کو کتر دیا اور شیر کو آزاد کر دیا۔

اس دن، شیر نے سیکھا کہ **چھوٹے دوست بھی بڑی مدد کر سکتے ہیں۔**
