Need some guidance: attn neurologists

My father had a backbone surgery some 4 years a go as he had discomfort in his leg in walking !

Now he has burning sensation on sole/ bottom of his foot and he says he gets blisters if he walks over 1 km

Any ideas how to fix this problem ?

He has walked a lot all his life and he misses it now and this pain hurts him a lot !
