Offering over 35 years of experience in higher education leadership, good governance, social cohesion and human resource mobilization, Mr. Mounir Kleibo has proven himself as a highly qualified Management Executive and pioneer in advocating transparency and corporate social responsibility, accountability and social inclusion in Palestine. Mr. Kleibo’s advanced expertise began as Dean of the Ibrahimmiyeh Community College, Jerusalem (1991-1994). He later became Chief de Cabinet at the Palestinian Authority Finance Ministry (1995-1996). 1996 joined the United Nations international civil service . Kleibo concentrated on productivity enhancement, institution building and human capacity development as head of the UNDP/PAPP Governance and Public Sector unit. He had as well managed the UN Volunteers program, and stood out as the architect and head (1996-2008) of the renowned Transfer Of Knowledge Through Expatriate Nationals Programme (TOKTEN) in the occupied Palestinian territory and region. . Mr. Kleibo became the Representative of the International Labour Organization in Jerusalem (2008). He sees the ILO as absolutely central to the questions of the day: jobs, social protection, the fight against poverty, and equality. Additionally, Kleibo headed the team who produced Palestine: A Guidebook. Mr. Kleibo holds a BA in Business Administration (1984), Birzeit University, Palestine; MA in Higher Education Leadership, University of Columbia, South Carolina (1991) and an associate degree from the University of Cambridge, UK in cross-sector partnerships.
