Hasaan Khawar is a management/international development consultant; a journalist and public policy commentator; a researcher and also holds a few honorary positions. He is a public figure in Pakistan and has 20+ years of experience of public and private sector management, through various undertakings in Pakistan and internationally. The project is working on improved economic and urban planning in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (the north-western province of Pakistan), with the ultimate goal of mobilizing public and private investments that generate greater economic, social & environmental returns.
Hasaan had recently been advising the Senior Minister for Tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in setting up the provincial Culture and Tourism Authority and transforming the provincial tourism product portfolio, brand and tourism sector management model.
