Another Pakistani interview: this time for Associated Press Pakistan. He asked me questions by PM and this is what he wrote and sent to his colleague in the Netherlands Associated Press - Peace is possible

A voice which touches ones soul can not be ignored, I came across her peace song on facebook, in my friends list that singer having looks of princess fairy is US citizen Nedi Safa, is having Mom of Iranian origin married to an American citizen thus is a member of international family. Her name is a combination of two Arabic words Neda Safa, Neda means call and Safa means peace.
Nedi writes her songs by herself and also compose music and lyrics for all her songs, her band known as ‘Nedi and the Network’ is comprised of two African Americans and two white Americans men, the band is named after large network of her friends on facebook, shows of her band are mostly conducted in California USA and are aired on youtube and facebook and are viewed in twenty five countries.
She is an expert Piano, guitar and violin player, and all her life she kept herself engaged with music. She had stayed in Thailand in students exchange program, also went to Vienna Austria to study music. Music created by her bears international influences, in her latest album she had performed with oriental music instruments like Tabla and Sarood played by Vikash and Prabash Maharaj.
Her Mom had decided to leave Iran to pursue education in USA, when people of Bahai religion got deprived of their fundamental rights there and her three uncles and a cousin were also persecuted there in Iran. Some of her other family members when leaving Iran were also deprived of their precious rings on airport once. Happy turn came in her Mom’s life in USA when she met her Papa in New Year party of non drinkers.
Nedi parents both believers of Bahai religion had taught her that earth is one country and all humans are its citizens, and their house always welcomed interracial couples and people of all religions.
She says that current regime in Iran has deprived 300000 Bahai citizens of Iran from their right to get university education and employment in government jobs. While Parsi, Jews and Christians are protected by Iranian constitution, no constitutional protection has been granted to people of Bahai religion there in Iran, though Bahai people there are strictly non political and law abiding, 200 believers of Bahai religion are executed in Iran on charges of teaching religious books to their own children. While writing all this as Sunni Muslim Journalist I felt need for Ijtihad and Ijma in Iran regarding provision of constitutional protection to people of Bahai religion, sooner is the better.
