Meet Abdul Ghafoor
I am in my mid 50s. I am here in Dubai for last 20 years and have been a serial entrepreneur ever since I left Pakistan in 1997. I went to LUMS for my MBA in the very first session in 1986. After my MBA I joined Financial Industry and progressed fast to be a Vice President in just 8 years. I left corporate sector to start something I always fancied which is Entrepreneurship and moved to Dubai.
In Dubai I have founded and exited a few businesses. I have pioneered a few first time products and services in the region. My present business Mangrove Services is also an idea based Steam Cleaning business that we introduced in UAE.
Launching new businesses based on new ideas is what captures my imagination. I have many ideas of working with and helping Pakistani youth. I have a plan to start Opportunity Clinics for young people in Pakistan once I move back in next few years inshaAllah.
