I am so very proud of my mother’s uncle Mohammed Ilyas
He is 80+ and uses facebook Soo well, he even checks weather using fb app ! For me it’s such amazing to see our elders using technology !
He has been always at the forefront of technology in our family.
Due to him I was able to start with computers at an early age of 12 as he bought his son a Apple computer and that was the first time I saw a computer, and then 1 or 2 years later I got one too.
He was the one who introduced video Cassatt recorder to my father and we got our first video recording of our family at age of 9
Today all these things sound simple and normal but when you bring something new to a totally new crowd, it’s very very few people who actually have the courage to stand up and embrace the new and let go of the old !
I got him a Amazon Alexa this week and he was sooo happy and dazzled using it, and I can’t wait to see him go live and give interviews about his view of the world, which has changed sooooo many times over in last 80 years !
