I just watched the video in English Rehan.com/friends and I can see that Rehan's experiment is working for HIM, because he is more relaxed, comfortable with himself, very straightforward and perhaps not burdened with as much ego as in earlier times. I love what you are saying, Rehan- BE IN JOY!!! NOW!!No matter what is happening. I must count my mutual friends-because maybe I can "win" a laptop for you to give to the school in Chaman---you know, Rehmat Ullah Rehmat's wonderful work for orphans and kids with basic needs. After hearing you in this video, I am more motivated to put more time into communicating with the mutual friends I have already! I certainly fit your "outlier profile", being a "flower child of the 60's (I turned 21 in Buenos Aires in 1968 as I was on a hitch hiking ( and 2nd class buses) tour of South America, before that became "a thing" ...my consciousness was blasted open by my travels and so I came back to "finish school", and became a Clinical Social worker. Solidarity with Oppressed countries and people (Amnesty International, helping Chilean refugees, working with the Farm Workers Union in California, Pediatric Oncology Social Work, understanding the pain and destruction caused by American imperialism, war for profit, the pain and destruction caused by " Healthcare for Profit". So many privileges in terms of educational opportunities, but seeking to use my education to improve people's lives.... I've been blessed also with learning lessons from loss and grief of my own, having to learn to "Be in Joy" in the now instead of a chronic bundle of anxiety... still working on it!
