Dear Akhi Abdallah Samir & Others,

Ive been confused about Rehan Allahwala too. Ive always tried to analyze what he is trying to do and what are the results that hes producing. Its been more than a year that Ive come to know about him. Heres what I have discovered until now. Credits to my book reading experience for giving me new pair of eyes to see the world and the people, including him.

In the language of Seth Godin, Rehan Allahwala is a linchpin. According to philosophy of Robin Sharma, hes a leader without a title. The mutual friends experiment is his gift that he has given generously. Yes, GIFT! Now read the text in image again. Youll understand why all people are not comfortable with his gift.

The point of offering a tangible reward (a laptop or a smartphone) is to get people to talk to other people. When they start, their horizon is small and mindset is limited. When they interact with different people, the horizon broadens and the mind opens up. They gradually start focusing on mindset, learning and development. Laptop becomes a non-issue.

I never was into this for the laptop. Im a blogger, an avid book reader, a ferocious learner and a better human being after knowing the people through Rehan Allahwala. I know, interact and meet with people better than me and it propels me higher in everything. Im setting goals and achieving them. Im making a positive difference 365 days of a year now.

Please let people grow. They will become like you when they talk to you. They wont feel need of a laptop anymore. Theyll rather earn a laptop and a better life.

Cheers,

Ilyas Tarar
