Pakistani girl Mona Mahtani receives Commonwealth Youth Award in London:
London ( ) Mona Parkash from Hyderabad, Pakistan was conferred Commonwealth Youth Award for Excellence 2016 in the field of education at Commonwealth Secretariat London. Award was given by Ms. Katherine Ellis, Director Youth Affairs, Commonwealth Secretariat. The award recognizes outstanding young people under the age of 30, whose work has significantly contributed to society. Mona is among 17 finalists from 53 Commonwealth member countries, she is the only person from Pakistan to receive this award this year (2016). Mona Parkash has earlier also been conferred with UNDP N-Peace Award.
