True and ALL peoples should do the same. How about creating a PeaceMakers Challenge: Be the Peace!
Our Mission: To turn the worst of times into the best of times by empowering youth (of all ages) to become active PeaceMakers. We challenge you to dream big, get creative, and take action to build a world that works for everyone—peacefully, in every way.
The PeaceMakers Challenge invites you to bring our guiding vision to life: "Peace IN Everything, Everything AS Peace". This is your chance to make peace a reality—both a noun and a verb!
The Challenge: Create Your Vision of Peace
Your task is to create a project—big or small, individual or collective—that expresses your vision of peace. What does a world with "Peace IN Everything" look like, feel like, and act like? Show us! Bring it to life!
If you are a school, each record/homeroom, would design their own project according to their vision and needs for peace, be it peace at home/classroom, and compete for the most impactful one to represent the school. Then the winners go to the next level up collaborating with each other to create a grandeur expression of peace, onward to state/national, …
Your project can take any form
How the Challenge Works: From One Classroom to the World Stage!
Imagine the ripple effect of your creative action!
* Step 1: The Classroom Spark: Individually or as a class, brainstorm and create your PeaceMakers Challenge project.
* Step 2: The School Showcase: Present your projects to the entire school. A panel of students, teachers, and community members will select a project and team to represent your school.
* Step 3: District Collaboration: The champions from each school in the district will then come together. Instead of competing, the school representatives will collaborate to combine ideas into an even grander, more impactful expression of peace.
* Step 4: Scaling Up: • This collaborative process continues, moving up from the district to the regional, national, with NPO’s, Service organizations like Rotary/Kiwanis/Soroptimists, Corporations, and finally, the world stage, creating a unified, global vision of peace built by the youth in tandem with the elders of the world.
*
The ultimate prize isnt simply recognition—its creating a world that works for all, turning our most challenging times into our greatest opportunity for transformation.
