Dear Friends The Water Air and Food Awards 2023 Every day, SILENT HEROES all over the world are fighting to provide clean water, unpolluted air, and healthy food in their communities. Since 2008, the WAF Awards recognizes outstanding achievements of people and initiatives (mainly from the Global South), who successfully have solved such local challenges. So far, over 600 applicants from 82 countries have participated and gained access to funding, support, and public attention. WAFA is an NGO based in Copenhagen, until today solely run by volunteers.
