Hey there Rehan, salams to you. Just wanted to update you on my friend from Yemen. His family is still in Sana'a, and he has joined the army, as he felt was his duty. He is earning a small amount as a soldier, so his family is still struggling. But at least they are still in their home and haven't been hit by the airstrikes, which is more than a lot of families there can say. Last month I put the family in touch someone in Sana'a who was able to donate a good supply of food to them (he is supporting 13 relatives) so they are a bit more food secure. This was through the efforts of Aisha Jumaan in Seattle, who is working hard to educate Americans about the war in her country, and who is working to get aid to struggling Yemenis. She recommends donating to Noor.org in case anyone asks you about good aid agencies there. She says 100% of donations collected go to Yemenis for food, water and medical aid. Tracy Nolan from Seattle
