Amazing job by Azra Maqsood Dear All, INJAZ Pakistan, in collaboration with Developments in Literacy (DIL), conducted entrepreneurial training with female residents from Orangi last year. The success of this training has resulted in some of the female participants initiating their own clothing businesses from within their localities. They are doing a brilliant job by, not only, encouraging financial sustainability for themselves, but also mobilizing other women from their communities and offering employment opportunities. Their products include: Women's eastern wear (formal and casual) Cushion covers Bed covers (including rilli) Children's apparel Decorated Envelopes Book marks Envelopes Baby shirts and frocks Tea cozy Embroidery dresses As part of INJAZ Pakistan's aim to support entrepreneurial endeavors, especially of those initiated by women, the organization would like to invite these female entrepreneurs to The Aman Foundation (for a period of 3 days) to showcase and sell their products. They will set their stalls on the 1st floor of the Head Office, directly opposite the elevators from July 21st to July 23rd. We encourage you all to come and take a look at their stuff and support these women.
