One evening, Mulla Nasrudin was searching for his ring under a street lamp.
A neighbor saw him and asked, “Mulla, where did you lose your ring?”
Mulla pointed toward his house and said, “Inside my room.”
The neighbor was confused. “Then why are you searching here?”
Mulla replied, “Because there is more light here!”
The neighbor laughed and said, “But you will never find it here.”
Mulla smiled and said, “That is what happens when we look for answers in the easiest place instead of the right place.”
Moral: Always look for the truth where it can actually be found, not where it is most convenient.
