Story Post Topic: Mulla Nasrudin & the Tightrope Walker
One day, Mulla Nasrudin went to see a famous tightrope walker performing in the town square.
The man carefully walked across a rope high above the crowd. Everyone watched in amazement.
After the performance, someone asked Mulla, “Would you trust that man to carry you across the rope?”
Mulla smiled and said, “Of course not!”
The man asked, “But why? You just saw how skillful he is.”
Mulla replied, “I believe he can walk across the rope. But trusting someone with your life is a different matter!”
Everyone laughed at Mulla’s clever answer.
Moral: Admiring someone’s skill is easy, but trust should be earned through experience.
