Hello everyone!
In this video, I am sharing my review of Erica Stone's TEDx Talk, **“Academic Research is Publicly Funded — Why Isn’t It Publicly Available?”**
From this talk, I learned that academic research is very important for education and the progress of society. Researchers work hard to discover new ideas and information. But an important question is: **If research is supported by public funding, why isn't it easily available to everyone, including students and teachers?**
The most interesting point for me was that **knowledge becomes more powerful when it is shared.** If research is more accessible, students can learn better, teachers can find useful information, and researchers can build on new ideas.
This talk also taught me the importance of **critical thinking, asking questions, and understanding information.**
My biggest lesson is that we should not only memorize information. We should also think about where information comes from, how it is shared, and how it can benefit society.
Overall, I found this TEDx Talk very **informative, educational, and thought-provoking**. It gave me a new perspective on research, education, and the importance of sharing knowledge.
