One day, Mulla Nasrudin noticed that his neighbors kept borrowing things from him but never returned them on time. From pots to tools , everyone seemed to need something from Mulla! He smiled and decided it was time for a clever plan.
The next day, when a neighbor came to borrow his rope, Mulla said, “Sorry, I can’t lend it today because I’m using it to tie up flour.” The neighbor looked confused and said, “But flour can’t be tied with a rope!” Mulla laughed and replied, “When someone doesn’t want to lend something, any excuse works!”
The neighbor realized Mulla had taught him a valuable lesson about respecting other people’s belongings and returning borrowed items on time. Sometimes wisdom comes with humor!
