Day 13: story post No 4
Roll no 17
Accl task

### 2. In English: Mulla Nasrudin's Missing Ring
One night, Mulla Nasrudin was searching for something on the ground outside his house, holding a lantern.
A neighbor passed by and asked, "Mulla, what are you searching for?"
Mulla said, "I lost my ring."
The neighbor also bent down to help him, and both started searching the ground. After searching for a long time, they couldn't find the ring.
The neighbor asked, "Mulla, do you remember where you dropped the ring?"
Mulla said, "Yes, I dropped it inside the house, in my room."
The neighbor was shocked and said, "What? If you dropped the ring inside, why are you searching outside?"
Mulla replied very calmly, "Because it is dark inside and there is light from the lantern outside. It is easier to search in the light here."
Moral: We often look for solutions where it is easy, not where the problem actually is. That is our biggest foolishness. See less
