# Day 13 Mulla Nasrudin’s Missing Ring
**Once Upon a Time...**
One day, Mulla Nasrudin visited the house of a rich man in his village. The rich man was very proud of his beautiful and expensive ring. He took it out of a small jewelry box and showed it to Mulla Nasrudin. “Look at this wonderful ring,” he said proudly. “It is very precious to me, so please be careful whenever you handle it.”
Mulla Nasrudin smiled politely and replied, “Of course! I understand how valuable it is, and I will be very careful.” He spent some time talking with the man and enjoying his visit. After a while, Mulla thanked his host and left the house. Everything seemed perfectly normal, and nobody suspected that anything was wrong.
A little later, the rich man opened his jewelry box and suddenly discovered that his precious ring was missing! He searched the box again and again, checked the table, and looked around the entire room. But the ring was nowhere to be found. He became worried and angry. Then he remembered that Mulla Nasrudin had been the last visitor in his house. Without thinking carefully, he began to suspect Mulla.
The rich man hurried outside and found Mulla Nasrudin nearby. “Mulla!” he shouted. “My precious ring is missing. You were the last person who visited my house. Do you know anything about it?” Mulla remained calm and answered, “I do not know where your ring is, but I will help you look for it. Let us search carefully before making any accusations.”
Together, they returned to the house and searched every corner. They checked the room, the furniture, and the places where the ring might have fallen. They looked carefully, but the ring was still missing. Finally, Mulla Nasrudin turned to the rich man and said, “My friend, we have searched everywhere, but we have not found your ring. Remember one important thing: when something goes missing, do not blame someone without evidence. First, look for the truth.”
The rich man felt ashamed of his suspicion. He realized that he had accused Mulla without having any proof. He apologized and thanked Mulla for his patience and wisdom. Mulla smiled and replied, “Everyone makes mistakes, but a wise person admits them and learns from them.” The rich man never forgot that lesson.
## Moral of the Story
**Never accuse anyone without proof. Stay calm, search for the truth, and treat others with honesty and respect. A wise person thinks before making a judgment.**
