A water carrier had two pots. One was perfect, the other had a crack. Every day, he carried water from the river, and by the time he reached home, the cracked pot was only half full. The perfect pot mocked the broken one. The cracked pot felt ashamed. One day, the water carrier smiled and said, “Look at the flowers on your side of the path. I planted seeds there, and you watered them every day without knowing.” The cracked pot was surprised and happy to know it had a purpose.
Moral: Everyone has value, even with flaws.
ایک پانی والا کے پاس دو گھڑے تھے۔ ایک بالکل صحیح تھا اور دوسرا تھوڑا ٹوٹا ہوا تھا۔ روز وہ دریا سے پانی لاتا، لیکن جب گھر پہنچتا تو ٹوٹے گھڑے میں صرف آدھا پانی بچتا۔ صحیح گھڑا ٹوٹے گھڑے کا مذاق اڑاتا۔ ٹوٹا گھڑا شرمندہ رہتا۔ ایک دن پانی والا مسکرا کر بولا، "راستے کے اس طرف پھول دیکھو، میں نے بیج بوئے تھے اور تم ہر روز انہیں پانی دیتے رہے۔" ٹوٹے گھڑے کو خوشی ہوئی کہ وہ بھی کسی کام کا ہے۔
اخلاقی سبق: ہر کسی کی اہمیت ہوتی ہے، چاہے وہ مکمل نہ بھی ہو۔
