There was once a shepherd who always complained about the weather. If it was sunny, he said it was too hot. If it rained, he said the rain was useless. One day, there was no rain for many weeks. The grass dried up, and his sheep had nothing to eat. Then he prayed for rain. When it finally rained, he realized how important it was. From that day, he became thankful for all kinds of weather.
Moral: We should be thankful for what we have.
ایک چرواہا ہمیشہ موسم کی شکایت کرتا تھا۔ اگر دھوپ ہوتی تو کہتا بہت گرمی ہے، اگر بارش ہوتی تو کہتا یہ بیکار ہے۔ ایک دن کئی ہفتے تک بارش نہ ہوئی۔ گھاس سوکھ گئی، اور بھیڑوں کے کھانے کے لیے کچھ نہ بچا۔ تب اس نے بارش کی دعا کی۔ جب آخرکار بارش ہوئی، تو اسے احساس ہوا کہ یہ کتنی قیمتی ہے۔ اس دن سے وہ ہر موسم پر شکر ادا کرنے لگا۔
اخلاقی سبق: جو کچھ ہمارے پاس ہے، اس پر شکر ادا کرنا چاہیے۔
