ایک گاؤں میں ایک غریب دکاندار اناج بیچتا تھا۔ ایک دن ایک امیر آدمی چاول خریدنے آیا اور غلطی سے زیادہ پیسے دے گیا۔ دکاندار نے جب یہ دیکھا تو وہ فوراً اس کے پیچھے دوڑا اور اضافی پیسے واپس کر دیے۔ امیر آدمی اس کی ایمانداری سے بہت متاثر ہوا اور اسے انعام کے طور پر مزید کاروبار اور پیسے دیے۔ اس کے بعد دکاندار گاؤں میں سچائی اور دیانت داری کی مثال بن گیا۔

Once there was a poor shopkeeper who sold grains in a small village. One day, a rich man came to buy rice and accidentally gave him extra money. The shopkeeper noticed the mistake after the man had left. Instead of keeping it, he ran after the man to return the extra amount. The rich man was surprised by his honesty and rewarded him with more business and money. The shopkeeper became well known in the village for his truthfulness.
Moral: Honesty builds trust and respect.
