One day, a lion was sleeping in the jungle when a little mouse ran over his body. The lion woke up angrily and caught the mouse in his big paw. The mouse begged for mercy and promised to help the lion one day. The lion laughed but let the mouse go. A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunters net. He roared for help. The same mouse heard him and quickly came. It chewed the rope with its small teeth and set the lion free. The lion was surprised and thanked the mouse.
ایک دن شیر جنگل میں سو رہا تھا کہ ایک چھوٹا سا چوہا اس کے جسم پر دوڑ گیا۔ شیر غصے سے جاگا اور چوہے کو اپنے بڑے پنجے میں پکڑ لیا۔ چوہا رحم کی بھیک مانگنے لگا اور وعدہ کیا کہ وہ ایک دن شیر کی مدد کرے گا۔ شیر ہنس پڑا لیکن چوہے کو چھوڑ دیا۔ کچھ دن بعد شیر شکاری کے جال میں پھنس گیا۔ وہ زور زور سے دہاڑنے لگا۔ وہی چوہا آواز سن کر آیا اور اپنے چھوٹے دانتوں سے جال کاٹ کر شیر کو آزاد کر دیا۔ شیر حیران ہوا اور چوہے کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
اخلاقی سبق: کوئی بھی اتنا چھوٹا نہیں ہوتا کہ کسی کی مدد نہ کر سکے۔
