A poor woodcutter dropped his axe into the river. He sat and cried. An angel appeared with a golden axe and asked, “Is this yours?” He said, “No.” Then she brought a silver one. Again, he said no. Finally, she returned his real axe. She gave him all three for his honesty.
ایک غریب لکڑہارا کلہاڑی دریا میں گرا بیٹھا۔ وہ بیٹھ کر رونے لگا۔ ایک فرشتہ آیا، سونے کی کلہاڑی دکھائی اور پوچھا، "کیا یہ تمہاری ہے؟" اس نے کہا، "نہیں۔" پھر چاندی کی دکھائی، پھر بھی انکار کیا۔ آخر میں اصلی کلہاڑی دی۔ سچائی پر اسے تینوں کلہڑیاں دے دی گئیں۔
