Once upon a time, a clever monkey lived near a river.
He loved to swing from tree to tree and eat ripe bananas.
One day, he saw a crocodile resting by the riverbank.
The crocodile pretended to be friendly and invited the monkey for a ride.
Curious, the monkey jumped on its back.
In the middle of the river, the crocodile revealed, “I want your heart for my wife!”
The monkey stayed calm and said, “Oh no! I left my heart on the tree!”
The greedy crocodile swam back to get it.
As soon as they reached the tree, the monkey jumped off safely.
He laughed and said, “You should never trust a clever monkey!”
ایک دن ایک ہوشیار بندر درخت پر بیٹھا کیلے کھا رہا تھا۔
وہ دریا کے کنارے رہتا اور مزے سے جھولا جھولتا تھا۔
ایک دن ایک مگرمچھ نے اس سے دوستی کی۔
مگرمچھ نے کہا، "چلو سیر کرتے ہیں، میری پیٹھ پر بیٹھ جاؤ!"
بندر خوش ہو کر مگرمچھ کی پیٹھ پر بیٹھ گیا۔
دریا کے بیچ پہنچ کر مگرمچھ بولا، "میری بیوی تمھارا دل کھانا چاہتی ہے!"
بندر نے فوراً چالاکی سے کہا، "ارے! میں تو دل درخت پر چھوڑ آیا ہوں!"
مگرمچھ اسے واپس لے گیا دل لینے کے لیے۔
جیسے ہی درخت کے قریب پہنچے، بندر فوراً چھلانگ لگا کر اوپر چڑھ گیا۔
اس نے ہنستے ہوئے کہا، "ایسے بندر کو دھوکہ دینا آسان نہیں!"
