Feeling pity, he took the dog home, treated its wounds, and fed it with whatever little food he had. The dog, sensing the farmer's kindness, grew loyal and protective of him. One stormy night, thieves sneaked into the farmer's small hut, hoping to steal his only savings. But before they could take anything, the dog barked fiercely and attacked them, biting one of the thieves and scaring the others away. The farmer woke up and saw what had happened. Grateful, he hugged his loyal companion, realizing that kindness always comes back in unexpected ways.
