A 42-year-old California woman, Lisa Catalano from San Mateo, has gained widespread attention after renting multiple billboards along Highway 101 and launching www.MarryLisa.com in a bid to find a husband.

Catalano, who also bought taxi ads, says the campaign is a serious, self-funded effort after disappointing experiences with dating apps. Her website outlines her lifestyle and “non-negotiables,” seeking a partner aged 35–45 who shares her values and is committed to marriage.
