Today I had the privilege of meeting Iqbal Shah, a remarkable man who served the Punjab Police with courage, integrity, and dedication.
With a career spanning 36 years, he held important positions across Lahore, including Islampura Circle and Mustafa Abad Police Station. In every role, he was known for his honesty, discipline, and unwavering commitment to public service. Even during difficult times, he carried his duties with dignity, earning respect from colleagues and the community alike.
In July 2020, he retired after decades of service, and was honored by the DIG Operations Lahore with a shield and recognition of his lifelong contribution to law and order in our city. His journey reminds us that true leadership is about integrity, sacrifice, and service to the people.
Meeting him today was a moment of inspiration — a reminder that Pakistan has produced and continues to produce men of character who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
