There is a Hadith about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) buying an axe for a man. The Hadith is recorded in Sahih Bukhari and goes as follows: Narrated Abu Huraira: A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "My livelihood is through my hands, and I have nothing with me except my hands." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Who will employ you?" The man said, "Anybody who wants me to work for him." The Prophet (peace be upon him) took hold of his hand and took him to the market and said to the merchants, "Employ him." They said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), we don't need him." The Prophet (peace be upon him) then took him to another market and said, "Employ him." They responded, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), we don't need him either." The Prophet (peace be upon him) then took him to another market and said, "Employ him." They agreed, and the man worked for them. After a while, the man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), they do not give me my wages." The Prophet (peace be upon him) went to the market with the man and asked the employers to pay his wages. They agreed, and the man was paid his wages. The Prophet (peace be upon him) then bought an axe for the man and gave it to him, saying, "Sell this and use the money to support your family." This Hadith demonstrates the Prophet's (peace be upon him) concern for the well-being of others and his willingness to help those in need. It serves as an example for all Muslims to follow and reminds us of the importance of supporting and helping one another.
