Here's a killer technique on how to get folks like me to promote you all over the place... Write a blog post honoring me or something I teach, linking to me. Sharing a website link is more powerful than sharing a social link for a couple reasons. 1) Social media posts fizzle out after a day, while blog posts continue to deliver value forever. 2) If you post a TikTok link to Facebook, that's like driving a Honda into a Toyota dealership. But posting a website link on any of the social networks seems to be more acceptable. 3) Linking to me gives me a SEO boost-- a "vote" for the search engines. As a former search engine engineer, I know this-- so I want to get more engagement to that web page, which helps it rank better. In summary, if you want me to share your content all over-- write a post about me or something I teach. Repurposing a podcast is easy, since most of us don't do that.
