ACCl Task 14 – Mulla Nasrudin & The Tightrope Walker
I have successfully completed my fourteenth ACCl task titled **“Mulla Nasrudin & The Tightrope Walker”** .
This task taught me that **confidence and wisdom** can balance any challenge in life, just like a tightrope walker balances on the rope — with focus, patience, and courage .
Mulla Nasrudin & the Tightrope Walker
One day, a famous tightrope walker came to town and set up his rope between two tall poles in the marketplace.
The crowd gathered in excitement — among them was Mulla Nasrudin, watching curiously.
The tightrope walker shouted proudly,
“Who believes I can cross this rope without falling?”
Everyone cheered,
“We believe! We believe!”
The man smiled and asked again,
“Who believes I can cross it while carrying a basket of stones?”
The crowd cheered even louder,
“We believe! We believe!”
Then the performer pointed to Nasrudin and said,
“You, Mulla! Since you believe in me the most, come hold the basket while I cross!”
Nasrudin quickly stepped back and said,
“I said I believe you can do it — not that I’m foolish enough to test it myself!”
The crowd burst into laughter at Nasrudin’s quick wit.
Moral:
It’s easy to claim faith — true belief is proven through action.
