The Clever Plan of Mulla Nasrudin

One day, Mulla Nasrudin’s neighbor came to him with a problem.
“Mulla,” he said worriedly, “someone has stolen my donkey! Please help me find it.”

Nasrudin nodded calmly and said,
“Don’t worry, my friend. I have a clever plan.”

He went straight to the mosque, stood in front of the people, and loudly announced,
“Brothers! Whoever stole my neighbor’s donkey should come to the mosque immediately, for I have a message from Allah for him!”

The crowd murmured in confusion. A few people looked around nervously. Then suddenly, one man jumped up and shouted,
“What message? What did Allah say about me?”

Everyone turned toward him in shock.

Nasrudin smiled and said,
“He said you just confessed!”

The thief’s face turned red as he realized what he had done. The donkey was quickly returned to its rightful owner, and the whole village burst out laughing at Nasrudin’s wit.

Moral:
Wisdom and humor can solve problems better than anger or force.
