Longwinded answer follows. In my humble opinion: Figure out your skills, experience, and interests. Know the difference between fact and opinion; communicate clearly and honestly in spoken and written word in your 1st language and a second language, preferably Chinese or English; have good self-esteem; create graphics starting with something like Canva; report bugs in websites and apps; and gain and practice sales skills (not in-your-face sales skills but soft sales skills).
You could become a social media influencer, a reseller, a blogger, a virtual assistant, social media manager, customer support representative, tech supporter, video editor using apps like FimoraGo or Quik, app tester, affiliate marketer...
How do you get started? Ask people you know for assistance, use Fiverr, research on Youtube and other sources for how to get these jobs using your phone, follow people and businesses that pair up well with your skills, experience and interests and interact with them in meaningful ways. When the time is right, politely ask to work for them and to help them, and subscribe to the profiles that can help you research and learn how to get started...
Good luck and be a model of integrity as you begin your career life, 8th graders. Ganbarimasu. ("You can do it" in Japanese.) Last, but not least, always UNDERPROMISE what you can and will do and then OVERDELIVER. Do much better than what you promised to do. Like if you say you will get something done within one week, try to get it done within 6 or fewer days, and add something extra on the side they didnt ask for but that will help your client.
