# Mulla Nasrudin & the Donkey's Price
Once upon a time, Mulla Nasrudin went to the market to sell his donkey. He wanted to get a good price for it.
A man came and asked, "Mulla, how much do you want for your donkey?"
Mulla replied, "I want 100 gold coins."
The man was surprised and said, "That is too expensive! Your donkey is not worth that much."
Mulla smiled and said, "Perhaps you are right, but my donkey knows its own value!"
The man laughed and walked away.
Another man came and asked the price. Mulla again said, "100 gold coins."
The man said, "I will give you 50 gold coins."
Mulla replied, "No, my donkey is worth much more than that."
Finally, a rich merchant came and asked, "Why are you asking such a high price?"
Mulla answered, "Because I know what I have, and I will not sell it for less than its worth."
The merchant was impressed by Mulla's confidence and bought the donkey for 100 gold coins.
Mulla happily returned home.
