All the students came happily with their new books and notebooks. But when the teacher entered the class, everyone was surprised because the teacher himself was cleaning the school’s washroom.The students saw that the teacher, without any hesitation, was sweeping and cleaning. Then the teacher said to everyone:“Children! Cleaning is not just the duty of a janitor or a worker. Islam teaches us that cleanliness is half of our faith. Who ever keeps himself and his surroundings clean, Allah loves him.”From that day onwards, not only the teacher but all the students and other teachers also started cleaning the school together.
