• # Mulla Nasrudin’s Wise Answer

Once, Mulla Nasrudin was walking through the market when he saw a group of people arguing loudly.

A rich man asked Mulla, “Tell me, who is the wisest person in this town?”

Mulla smiled and said, “The wisest person is the one who knows when to speak and when to remain silent.”

The rich man laughed and said, “That is not a wise answer!”

Mulla calmly replied, “If you already know everything, then why did you ask me?”

Everyone in the market laughed. The rich man became silent and realized that Mulla had taught him an important lesson.

From that day on, the man thought carefully before speaking.

**Moral:** *A wise person thinks before speaking and does not speak unnecessarily.*

One day, Mulla Nasrudin was walking through the village when a rich man stopped him.

“Nasrudin,” the man asked, “tell me, who is the wisest person in this village?”

Nasrudin smiled and pointed toward an old farmer sitting under a tree.

“That man is very wise,” he said.

The rich man was surprised. “How do you know?”

Nasrudin replied, “Because he knows when to speak, when to listen, and when to remain silent.”

The rich man thought for a moment and asked, “But can silence really be wisdom?”

Nasrudin nodded. “Of course. A foolish person speaks because he wants everyone to know that he has something to say. A wise person speaks only when his words are useful.”

The rich man smiled and said, “Then you must be very wise, Nasrudin!”

Nasrudin laughed and replied, “I am still learning. If I were truly wise, I would have kept quiet when you asked me this question!”

Everyone around them began to laugh.

Moral: True wisdom is not in speaking a lot, but in knowing when to speak and when to stay silent.

Day 14: Mulla Nasrudin and the Tightrope Walker ‍

One day, a famous tightrope walker came to Mulla Nasrudin's village. A huge crowd gathered to watch as the performer carefully walked across a thin rope high above the ground.

When the show ended, everyone clapped loudly. The tightrope walker proudly asked, "Who believes I can cross the rope again with a person on my shoulders?"

The crowd shouted, "We do! We do!"

Smiling, the performer pointed at Mulla Nasrudin and said, "Wonderful! Then please climb onto my shoulders."

Mulla quickly stepped back and laughed. "I believe in your skill," he said, "but I believe in my own safety too!"

The crowd burst into laughter. Even the tightrope walker smiled, realizing that believing in someone doesn't mean ignoring common sense.

Day 13: Mulla Nasrudin’s Missing Ring

One quiet evening, Mulla Nasrudin was searching for his missing ring under a bright street lamp.

A group of kind villagers saw him and joined the search. They looked everywhere under the light but couldn't find the ring.

After searching for a long time, one villager finally asked,
"Mulla, are you sure you lost the ring here?"

    Mulla smiled and replied,
"Oh no! I lost it inside my house. But it's too dark there, and the light is much better out here!"

The villagers burst into laughter. Then one wise old man said,
"We often search for answers where it's easy, instead of where the real problem exists."

Day 12: The Clever Plan of Mulla Nasrudin

One day, a group of children kept knocking on Mulla Nasrudin's door and running away. ‍

Instead of getting angry, Mulla smiled.

The next time they came, he opened the door and whispered, "Did you hear? They're giving away free sweets at the market!"

The children's eyes lit up with excitement.

    "Really?" they shouted.

"Yes!" Mulla replied with a grin.

The children ran as fast as they could to the market. ‍‍

Mulla quietly closed the door, enjoyed his peaceful evening, and laughed softly.

Later, someone asked, "Mulla, why didn't you simply scold them?"

Mulla smiled and said, "A clever mind solves problems without creating new ones."

Day 10: Mulla Nasrudin & the Donkey's Price

    One sunny morning ,

    Mulla Nasrudin

took his donkey 🫏 the market. The donkey was old but strong.

    A man came and asked,

“Mulla how much is your donkey?”

    Mulla smiled and said,

“This donkey is very special. It can find its way home by itself! ”

    The man was impressed.

“Wonderful! I will give you 100 gold coins!”

    Mulla shook his head.

“No, no! It is worth much more.”

Another man came and offered 150 gold coins. Mulla still refused.

Soon a rich merchant arrived and said,

“I will pay 300 gold coins for this amazing donkey!”

Mulla suddenly became silent. He looked at his donkey carefully. 🫏

    The merchant asked,

“So, do we have a deal?”

    Mulla laughed loudly and replied,

“If my donkey is really worth 300 gold coins, why should I sell it?”

Everyone in the market burst into laughter.

Story: Mulla Nasruddin and the Baker

One morning, Mulla Nasruddin visited a small bakery in his town. The baker was worried because his bread was not selling well.
Mulla watched carefully as the baker prepared the dough. He noticed that the baker was always in a hurry and did not give the dough enough time to rise.
Mulla smiled and said, “Good bread needs patience. You cannot rush something that needs time to grow.”
The baker decided to follow Mulla’s advice. He prepared the dough carefully, gave it enough time to rise, and baked it at the right temperature.
When the fresh bread came out of the oven, it was soft, golden, and delicious. The people of the town loved it!
Soon, the bakery became famous for having the best bread in town.
