Chemical bonding is one of the most important concepts in chemistry. It explains how atoms join together and form molecules and different substances around us. Everything we see, touch, eat, and use is made from atoms, and chemical bonds help these atoms stay connected.

Chemical bonds are like invisible connections between atoms. These connections determine how substances are formed and many of their properties. Strong or weak bonding can affect how a substance behaves, reacts, melts, or dissolves.
