Rehan Bhai, I come across some interesting posts off & on. For the country, Pakistan, I must say we are scattered group of people with talents. We could be considered as a crowd if individuals who never try to harness their efforts in a consistent, coerced manner towards a goal. Everyone tries to promote personal identity. In a team, we were hardly trained to work together for goal achievements. A few months ago, I attended Turkish Cultural Bazar: People were boastful of their culture, from dresses to food to sweets to music to lifestyle to handicrafts, I sensed a cheerful nation. I felt Turkey.
I went to Pakistan Cultural Bazar Yesterday. And I felt no boast, no national identity, no fervour. Some individuals exhibiting Indian jewellery, dresses not representing the country at all. No planning. We dont need donations, we dont need funds. We need strong sense of attitude to be a good nation. We never feel comfortable to be called and known as Pakistan. We lack attitude. Attitude as a nation makes the difference. No individual approach. At individual level, we may be billionaires, certified worlds best professionals but as a nation we fail to convey the sense of a responsible, progressive nation. Meri Awaz jahan tak ponchay.
