آج کیا سیکھا؟ آج الخدمت ہسپتال میں ایک ایسا منظر دیکھا جس نے مجھے ایک بہت اہم سبق دیا۔ ایک تقریباً 80 سالہ بزرگ خاتون علاج کے لیے ہسپتال آئیں۔ جب اُن کے بچوں سے اُن کی پچھلی میڈیکل رپورٹس، پرچیاں یا علاج کا ریکارڈ پوچھا گیا تو جواب ملا: "ہمارے پاس کچھ بھی موجود نہیں۔" یہ ایک چھوٹا سا مسئلہ نہیں ہے۔ جب کسی بزرگ مریض کا پرانا میڈیکل ریکارڈ موجود نہ ہو تو ڈاکٹر کے لیے یہ جاننا مشکل ہو سکتا ہے کہ پہلے کون سا علاج ہوا، کون سی دوا دی گئی، کون سی رپورٹ میں کیا آیا اور کس ڈاکٹر نے کیا مشورہ دیا تھا۔ ہم نے اُن کے گھر والوں کو ایک سادہ سا مشورہ دیا: 📱 ایک فیملی WhatsApp گروپ بنائیں، جس میں گھر کے تمام بچوں کو شامل کریں۔ 🩺 جب بھی والدین ڈاکٹر کے پاس جائیں، اُن کی نئی پرچی، رپورٹ یا دوا کی تصویر لے کر اسی گروپ میں محفوظ کریں۔ 📋 اس طرح وقت کے ساتھ ایک جگہ پر اُن کا میڈیکل ریکارڈ بنتا جائے گا، اور گھر کے تمام افراد کو معلوم رہے گا کہ آخری بار ڈاکٹر نے کیا کہا، کون سی دوا تجویز کی اور کون سی رپورٹ ہوئی تھی۔ پاکستان میں WhatsApp کا استعمال بہت عام ہے، اس لیے کبھی کبھی ایک سادہ سا WhatsApp گروپ بھی خاندان کے لیے بہت قیمتی میڈیکل ریکارڈ بن سکتا ہے۔ اور آج کا سب سے بڑا سبق: ❤️ والدین کا ساتھ کبھی نہ چھوڑیں۔ وہ بچپن میں ہمارا ہاتھ پکڑ کر ہمیں زندگی سکھاتے ہیں، تو ہمارا فرض ہے کہ بڑھاپے میں ہم اُن کا ہاتھ پکڑیں۔ والدین جتنے بھی بوڑھے ہو جائیں، اُن کی صحت، اُن کا ریکارڈ اور اُن کی ضروریات ہماری ذمہ داری ہیں۔ آج کا سبق صرف میڈیکل ڈیٹا کے بارے میں نہیں تھا؛ یہ اپنے والدین کے لیے ذمہ دار ہونے کے بارے میں تھا۔ #Parents #Healthcare #MedicalRecords #HealthAwareness #FamilyCare #DigitalHealth #WhatsApp #Pakistan #AlkhidmatHospital #RehanHealth Rehan Allahwala
