A meaningful conversation today at Rehan School Islamabad Today Farrukh Shahzad , Head of PR at Sultan Bahu Trust, visited Rehan School Islamabad Campus to observe and understand the Rehan School education system. Sultan Bahu Trust is a nonprofit organization that currently educates around 5,000 students through its educational initiatives. He spent time exploring how the Rehan School model works and how we are trying to change education by focusing on: • AI literacy • Confidence and communication • Leadership development • Entrepreneurship and problem-solving instead of only exam preparation During our discussion I asked him a very direct question. I said: “The UK already has one of the most advanced education systems in the world. Why would the UK need Rehan School?” Since Farrukh Shahzad lived in London for about 10 years, his answer was very insightful. He explained that although the UK education system is strong, there are still important gaps: • Most schools still prepare students mainly for jobs, not for building companies or solving real problems • Students are not introduced early enough to AI tools, entrepreneurship, and global collaboration • Many students in the Muslim community in the UK do not get an environment that builds confidence, leadership, and innovation mindset He said a system like Rehan School, which combines AI, entrepreneurship, and leadership training, could be extremely valuable in the UK. I shared with him my vision to start Rehan School campuses in: • London • Birmingham • and other cities across the UK. Because Sultan Bahu Trust has a strong presence in the UK Muslim community, I requested them to either: 1. Partner with us, or 2. Help connect us with students and families in the UK so we can start building this initiative together. The goal is much bigger than opening another school. The vision is to create a Pakistan–UK innovation bridge, where: • students in the UK and Pakistan collaborate, • build startups together, • and create systems and solutions using AI that can impact millions of people. Education should not only prepare students for employment.
